Staff friendliness.I arrived in the evening tired big suitcases as I am relocating.After check-in the lady at reception called someone to take bags to my room.Arrived in a spotless apartment and I appreciate the fact that there was a fridge with water!A microwave was another plus I had a good night sleep.Breakfast there was a wide variety of hot and cold food.I loved the fact that the property had a gym I needed it! Before leaving spend sometime relaxing by the pool area!So glad I chose Southern Sun Katherine as it was very close to the airport too.Will be back.Seevice is excellent.

The staff are very friendly, efficient, helpful and the reception manager went above & beyond to help us to try and organise a safari with our friends. The breakfast is off the chain and has so much select. I also like the shuttle bus, which takes the guest to anywhere within a 5km radius for free. The room size was big, and I loved the kitchenette idea. The bed is of a superior quality as I slept well. However, the food is so reasonable priced & well made there is no need to eat elsewhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel.. & I would stay here again...

We had a great stay at this hotel in Sandton. The location was excellent—very close to all the major malls and attractions, which made getting around super convenient. One of the highlights was the free shuttle service within a 5km radius—it was a huge help during our stay. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. Another thoughtful touch was the baby cot the hotel provided, which made our stay more comfortable as a family. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely consider staying here again.

Perfectly situated close to Sandton City and several smaller malls, this hotel is within easy reach of any shopping or banking/business requirements. The hotel shuttle, expertly manned by the ever-polite and always-accommodating Mavuso, is available for any short, 5km trips which was SO useful. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and spotlessly cleaned and maintained. Having a small kitchenette in the room was very useful for morning coffees and evening light meals. The hotel itself is stylish and comfortable. The gardens and swimming pool are kept immaculate and a pleasure to relax in. Our breakfast buffet was a wonderful start to the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for the polite, efficient staff who never passed the table without a smile and a quick word. Thank you, Patience and Lucas for your lovely service. Well done to the chef for the most delicious omlettes and perfectly poached eggs. They were amazing, not to mention the stupendous chicken salad. Brilliant. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The location is fine, the staff very attentive and arranged for the early check in as requested. The bar staff was also on point and the way they greeted every person in the hotel was a nice touch. They did show some care. Also, noticed whom im assuming as the manager helping out during crunch hours in breakfast, this was a big plus. Being able to take a small walk to the Mushroom farm park and the Marc were huge pluses.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully comfortable. Temogo, the potter, was truly amazing, and Nokuthula at reception welcomed us with such friendliness and professionalism. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and can’t wait to bring the kids along next time
